Phishing emails & fake messages

Phishing emails

Phishing is a form of online fraud, while smishing refers to fraud via SMS. Criminals try to deceive you with an email or website that looks genuine but is actually a fake. Often, the sender appears trustworthy and is from a well-known company. Phishing emails usually ask for your personal information.

Dartshopper also deals with phishing. The email may look like it comes from us, but this is not the case.

Examples of possible phishing messages:

  • Email about claiming a discount code

  • Email about paying extra shipping costs

  • Email about winning one or more products

Have you received a fake email from someone pretending to be Dartshopper? Then delete it immediately.

If you still have questions about a received email, always contact our customer service.
