Darts tips and tricks

How high should the board be hung and from what distance should I throw?

A dartboard is hung correctly when the centre of the bullseye is 173 cm from the ground. The official throwing distance is 237 cm from the throwing line (oche) to the front of the dartboard.

Many people find it difficult to place the oche at exactly the right distance. Therefore, you can also measure diagonally from the bullseye to the position of the oche.
For this diagonal measurement, the distance should be 293 cm between the centre of the bullseye and the throwing line.
