There may be several different reasons why your shaft got damaged. It may have broken off from your dart barrel due to a bounceback from your dartboard resulting in a hard impact with your floor, or perhaps you threw a dart directly on your dart (known as a Robin Hood) and split the top part of your shaft. This can happen after only one throw, or after a hundredth throws, no matter the brand or price range.
Unfortunately, shafts are fragile parts of your darts that are generally considered as utensils.
Shafts need to be interchanged regularly. And luckily, broken shaft pieces that are stuck in your barrel are in most cases easy to remove by using a broken-shaft remover, or even a small flat screwdriver. Is the broken part still sticking out to some extent? Then even simply twisting it with your fingers may cause this broken piece to come out. For this reason, we also recommend ordering several sets of back-ups shafts.
For this reason, however, we do not offer any warranty for broken shafts.
