Phishing emails & fake messages

Phishing emails

Phishing is a form of online fraud, while smishing involves fraud via SMS. Criminals try to deceive you with an email or website that looks genuine but is actually a counterfeit. Often, the sender appears trustworthy and from a well-known company. Phishing emails usually ask for your personal information.

Dartshopper also experiences phishing. The email may appear to be from us, but this is not the case.

Examples of possible phishing messages:

  • Email about claiming a discount code

  • Email about paying extra shipping costs

  • Email about winning one or more products

If you receive a fake email from someone pretending to be Dartshopper, delete it immediately.

If you have any questions about a received email, always contact our customer service.
