Extension of Every Target Omni Warranty to Two Years

Target has extended the warranty on the Omni to two years for all customers, including customers who have previously purchased their Omni. This underscores Target’s commitment to supporting every Omni owner and providing the best possible user experience.

Since its launch in November 2024, the response to the Omni has been overwhelmingly positive. The system is used frequently and regularly, and for the vast majority of players, the product functions as expected.

Target has determined that a small percentage of Omni processing units may unexpectedly power off. This behavior can be traced to an issue with a component found in a limited production batch. Based on current findings, the correct solution is to replace the processing unit. Target is taking a proactive approach to support affected customers as best as possible.

Additionally, Target’s product team continues to apply insights from real-world usage to further develop the product, ensuring that the Omni remains robust and reliable for all users.

Instead of waiting for customers to experience this issue, Target is proactively identifying which devices may be affected. Any Omni that falls within the relevant serial number range is eligible for a free full replacement of the processing unit.

To check your device, Target asks you to register the Omni warranty by entering the serial number HERE. (https://www.target-darts.co.uk/omni-warranty-registration)

If a unit falls within the affected range, the customer will be notified and the Target Customer Support team will contact them directly to arrange the replacement.

Target also recommends always keeping the Omni firmware up to date. Many performance and connectivity improvements are delivered through firmware updates. To check for updates, open DartCounter, go to Smart Devices, connect to your Omni, and follow the on-screen instructions.

Following the Virt, the Omni is Target’s second connected product. Target continues to make improvements in hardware, software, and firmware to further optimize the user experience.

Even after the extended two-year warranty period ends, Target will continue to support customers as needed. If something doesn’t feel right with your Omni, regardless of warranty status, please contact the Target support team so they can help:
