Frequently asked questions about darts

My shaft is broken and stuck in the barrel, what should I do now?

During darts, it can happen that a shaft breaks. This happens, for example, when a dart bounces out of the board (bouncer) or when you throw a dart against another dart. In many cases, the shaft breaks at the weakest point: the threading that is in the barrel.

When this happens, the threaded part remains stuck in the barrel. Although it is often still possible to remove this with your finger, it can sometimes be difficult.

Therefore, you can use a broken shaft remover for this. With, for example, the KOTO Broken Shaft Remover, you can easily unscrew the broken threading from the barrel, so you can quickly place a new shaft and continue playing. Is the shaft broken deeper inside the barrel? Then a flat screwdriver or tweezers can still help to unscrew the broken part from your barrel.

A broken shaft does not immediately mean that your darts are permanently unusable. Shafts are consumable products and serve only as a component of your darts.
