What are the official dimensions of a competition dartboard area?

An official competition dartboard area typically occupies 4 by 3 meters of space. The standard dimensions also apply here: the dartboard is hung at 173 cm (measured to the bullseye) and the throwing distance is 237 cm.

The oche (throw line) must be at least 61 cm wide and have a height of 3.8 to 6 cm.

In addition, good lighting is an important requirement for a valid competition area. When darts are in the board, there must be no shadow cast on the board. This ensures optimal visibility and prevents players from being hindered.
