A dartboard is hung correctly when the centre of the bullseye is at 173 cm from the floor. The official throwing distance is 237 cm from the throwing line (oche) to the front of the dartboard.

Many people find it difficult to place the oche at the exact correct distance. Therefore, you can also measure diagonally from the bullseye to the position of the oche.
For this diagonal measurement, the distance between the centre of the bullseye and the throwing line should be 293 cm.
